I spent half my age
wasting all these days
to be just okay
at everything
a miracle I'd say
quit taking care of myself
and caught the plague
my hands are bleeding
the concrete got in the way
watch me destroy myself
no matter who else i blame
hey, not saying I'm okay
but it's where I chose to be
and if I complain
there's no one to blame but me
I spent most of my pay
on all these stupid mistakes
not sure how much I gave
I take so little these days
give this place a bit of purpose again
roll yourself into the carpet
motherfuck everything than act surprised
but truly shallow people
know the deepest place to dive
hey, not saying I'm okay
but it's where I chose to be
and if I complain
there's no one to blame but me
hey, you can bet I will find a way
to relive all these past mistakes
and let them slow bleed into every day
I'm glad I never said that I'd be okay
